About me

I have been living in the North East of England for over two decades. I live with my husband and son. I have a Masters's degree from Northumbria University. I used to work but now I have dedicated my life to my family because my family is the most important thing to me. Therefore, I have decided to give up my professional life to spend time with my son. During this time I have learned and developed my culinary skills. Mainly Sri Lankan dishes which I can make here in the UK keeping the authentic Sri Lankan style and flavor. Sri Lankan food is different from other south Asian food as we use coconut milk and homemade spices for our dishes. Our main spices are coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, cayenne chilies, cardamom, cloves, pepper, garlic, and ginger. In addition, we use fragrant leave like curry leaves and pandanus leave for Sri Lankan curries.

They will be able to taste home cooked authentic Sri Lankan food.
